Lyndhurst Jiu-Jitsu Academy wins Tournament Team Title

Savarese Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a Lyndhurst Jiu-Jitsu Academy, wins Tournament Team Title at the Royler Gracie/David Adiv Jiu-Jitsu Tournament saturday in Marlboro, NJ. Professor Chris Savarese, owner and head instructor of the Lyndhurst NJ school was very pleased. “My instructor came up to me after the tournament and said my students fought like lions. I was beaming with pride. I couldn’t possibly be more proud of them”. This was the Savarese school’s 1st team championship. Team Championships are quite an honor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). Savarese said “It was a goal of everyone on our competition team made 8 weeks ago when we decided to compete, to win the team championship. Congrats to everyone who competed for making it happen! If the mind can believe it, you can achieve it!!” As a result, the team’s next goal is the Grapplers Quest tournament in May.
