Check out this picture from the Big Apple Open on Saturday. Two Savarese BJJ students who are sisters, Ariana and Kayla Zeppetelli, fighting at the same time on mats next to each other. Both are on the back of their opponents looking for the choke. Is this awesome or what? Photo was captured by Savarese friend Vincenzo Cisternino, who is a student of David Adiv, Savarese’s first BJJ instructor.

Ariana recently became the first certified instructor at Savarese BJJ. This is a great achievement for anyone to accomplish, but even more impressive for a high school student.
